Weed Control & Fertilization Program
1st Treatment
We begin early winter before spring weeds have ever germinated. Pre-emergence herbicides are applied at this time along with organic soil amendments to help with fertility. This will help control weeds such as dandelion, henbit, mouse ear chickweed, purple deadnettle, onions and other unsightly weeds ruining the beauty of your lawn.
2nd Treatment
A pre-emerge herbicide and organic soil fertility amendments are applied in the spring which insures weed prevention for summer weeds, crabgrass, broadleaf signalgrass, southern sandbur, annual kyllinga, goosegrass, and others.
3rd Treatment
We use slow release nitrogen that gives your lawn that glowing green look that everyone wants without a lot of frequent mowing. Our spray technicians will keep an eye out for any weeds that may have escaped the pre-emerge application earlier.
4th Treatment
Begins in the middle of summer when another round of fertilizer is needed. The thicker and healthier your turf, the less chance of weed invasion and susceptibility to disease.
5th Treatment
The last application of the year is our fall/winter pre-emerge. This application will protect your lawn from any foreign broadleaf and grassy weeds until we arrive again the next year!
